Everything was so different for Taryn. It always had been. No matter what she did, nothing ever went her way. She was always used to getting the shaft, but she didn't let it phase her. Taryn did whatever she could to keep her head above water and to see the good in things rather than the bad, even though she was a hardcore pessimist. This, however, was different. She knew that this was the cream of the crop, the creme de la creme, the cherry on top. This was everything she'd ever wanted and finally it was all hers. Things were going to be different for her and for once, she wasn't worried about change. Usually change scared her. It was debilitating in a way and Taryn didn't like it, but this.. this was going to be okay. With Tayla by her side, she could do whatever she wanted. Although, there were going to be quite a bit of fights under that roof. Mainly because of the fact that if Tayla was, as she thought, pregnant, there were going to be a lot of mood swings. Plus, since Taryn was quitting drugs, there were going to be a lot of withdraws and really, that ended badly. She would end up taking her anger out on the other girl, which she was not looking forward to. They were almost like a married couple even though they weren't even dating. That bugged Taryn a bit. She hated how they weren't dating or anything when they should have been. It was like they were, it just.. want's official. All it was so far was alley sex and the next thing Taryn knew, they're living together. In a way it was strange, but that's what Taryn loved about it. Catching the blush in Tayla's cheeks, Taryn smiled a bit. It was odd how she could make her smile with something as simple as a blush. "No, he's good. He'll just sleep on the foot of my bed or the floor. He's not picky" Sarge was one of those obeidiant dogs from birth. He never got into trouble and was super protective of the people he was around. Er, of Taryn and anyone she liked, Tay being one of those people.
Looking around the room, she shook her head. All of this was really way too much and it was going to take awhile to get used to. Never in her life had Taryn been treated this way. It was all hitting her a thousand miles a second and it was hard to keep up. It was a little funny to T how Tay never did anything for herself. She'd never met a person who had everything handed to them the way that Tayla did. In a way, it was a bad thing because she was in no way prepared for life, but it was a good thing because now she had Taryn to do all this stuff for her. "You know, if you wanted, you could get rid of all the cleaning people and just let me do it. It will save you money and at the same time, give me something to focus on other than my drug withdraws" it was just an idea, but it was one that seemed logical to her. It was nice to know that every day, every night, every morning, every evening, she'd be seeing Tay. That was probably the best thing in the world to her. Well, she didn't know if she'd see her that much since 1. the house was way too big and 2. since Taryn and Tay worked on different schedules. Plus, she worked on the weekends. So, things were going to be hectic for awhile, but Taryn was more than willing to try to keep things on track the best that she could. To be honest, Taryn would do anything for Tay. She didn't even need to ask either. It was all just going to be done. Hearing her talk about too much furnatire, Taryn just laughed a little. "Yeah, no. This is just.. mind blowing. I never imagined myself in a house like this. Especially since it's owned by such a beautiful girl" she said with a small grin. "And there's nothing you could ever or ever need to thank me for"
"I'm pretty excellent with a washing machine, actually. It's fairly simple. Maybe I'll teach you one day. Except, it's extremely boring, so you probably have no interest whatsoever" It was funny how spoiled Tayla was, but really, it was all right. If you had the parents who would give you anything you wanted, why not milk them for everything they're willing to give you? That's kind of how Taryn saw things just because she'd never been in this type of situation before. Nights would be fun under this roof, well, if she wasn't pregnant that was. Drunken fights were always the best because really, they always lead to the best sex ever. Anyone who had ever had drunken sex knew it. The only real thing that bugged T about all of that was that Tay still didn't know yet. Taryn wasn't even going to mention the pregnancy tests that she had in her bag in the car. She'd gotten them because Tayla asked her to be there and really, there was no better place to do it than in your own home, right? She even sprung for the expensive ones so there was more chance that it would be accurate. Grinning again, Taryn didn't really know what to say when Tay told her to stop thanking her. It was just in her nature apparently. As well as apologizing. Taryn was very apologetic at times and it was something she tried her best to work on. "I'm sorry, I'll try. I just can't get over all of this. It's honestly like.. a dream, but I'm not asleep, you know?" It'd been so long since Taryn had someone to care about. Ever since her Mom died, she'd had nothing. No one to worry about, no one to spend time with, no one to spoil.. nothing. It was strange though. Ever since she met Tay, all the nightmares stopped. She constantly dreamt of Tayla. When she woke up, she wished she was laying next to her, but she wasn't. She was constantly thinking about Tayla and it didn't add up. "You are the best, you know? I know we hate each other and whatnot, but you're making thinks a lot easier just by offering. Still, I'm not going to bring her over and make you made. That's something I don't want for awhile" she joked. Shivers went down Taryn's spine as Tay wrapped her arms around her waist. It was amazing how much she could feel when she didn't even she know she could. "You are absolutely incredible. Don't argue with me, just know that" without another word, Taryn leaned forward and captured Tayla's lips with her own. She didn't have to say 'thank you' to get her point across.
