IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO CONTACT ME ABOUT ANYTHING THAT HIT ME UP AT PM.
The studying was dull, it was potions her least favorite subject. It was most likely the least eventful thing going on at the moment. After finishing the chapter she put the book down taking a break once again, after reading about everything that you shouldn't do it got a little boring. Figuring it wouldn't get interesting anytime soon she closed her eyes once more.
The thoughts about what awaits her out in the real world sneaked back into her mind. For awhile she thought about marrying or just dating a future Death Eater that was until he disappeared. After that it snapped her back to real life. Holly was a wild card and she knew it. Holly got back to her notes writing a little reminder down before she was snapped out of her thoughts by a voice. It was someone she knew, a boy that drove her up the wall most of the time they were in a room together. Lance.
"Not at all," Holly told him not really turning her head at all to look at him. She closed her book figuring this was going to be interesting, well more then the studying. "What do you want Lance?" Holly simple asked him. This was weird, even for Holly, Lance and her have been doing rounds for years now and have never gotten along, it always turned into a fight. "Yes, because you being nice would be too much weird for me," she told him closing her book. "The nicest thing you have ever said to me is just bye." Holly informed him.
Holly thought about the whole potions thing and how it might help if someone did just help her but being Holly she was never up for it. That would show that she had a weakness somewhere. "I think we can just stick to rounds, no homework help." Holly turned a little to look at him. "No head games tonight." Holly told him randomly just to put the statement out there. Lance being nice was one thing, Lance actually sticking around to do rounds with her was another. Most of the time either went by herself or with another friend.
He left it hanging there a moment, wondering what her mind might interpret that as. In reality, Lance's attempts to be civil were likely confusing, and in reality, he could care less. Besides, possible double meanings or innuendos were something he enjoyed every once in a while. It left one guessing what his intentions were and made for interesting reactions. He was just talking at this point, and that's all he truly cared to do. He didn't know if he actually intended to do rounds with her or to take his own pathway. After all, it would make things go faster if they split up. Usually the prefects did, but some nights they coupled up, especially if they were friends. There were usually four out a night simply to make it less stressful for those on duty, and typically they were one from each house with an odd arrangement of differing ratios of male to female. He was slightly surprised they didn't do girls only and boys only, but hey, in today's society? It didn't really matter.
